BCA radios not functioning properly in Cold?

Have you tried the baofeng wired hand mic?

No, but I think I will considering how cheap it is. The fact that Baefang is very Chinese (if that exists) doesn't sit real well with me. But some are saying the BCA radio is Chinese too. I guess once I look past that I do want the best option for a radio. Thanks for the link/image.

Depending on what it's doing, I wonder if the mic is freezing up ? Maybe try putting a Frogskinz mic cover on.

I just got a BC Link radio, didn't seem to be working too well today, but the mic was pretty iced up, thanks to your post I just ordered a frogskin mic/speaker cover.
