I was Riding yesterday when I lost all drive on my sled. Thought for sure that I had broken a chain. We finally got the chaincase off (which is a pain in the *** if you don't have the right tools to pull the caliper and the rotor off.) We opened it up and didn't find anything wrong. Started looking around and noticed where the outer tube of the driveshaft had broken away from the inner tube of the driveshaft on the right hand side right about where the splines end. It definitely looked like a failed weld. I wasn't sure if anyone else has heard of this problem. Definitely not a fun day when there is sunshine and 2 feet of powder. At least I have a warranty.

I seen one just like that at my dealer in Central Washington, a few weeks back. Their was almost no weld at all on it, surprised it had held together for 500 miles.
