Something to keep in mind that might be hepfull along your trips is a set of tires chains for the rig. I'd have at least 3 chains, two for the rear and one for the front.

Out of curiosity how to raise and lower the upper sled deck?

I see a pivot on the middle upright and pins on the back upright. Man power.
Rear Lower hole is for loading and unloading and upper hole is for transport.

You happen to have a couple pictures of the setup?
so we have a winch mounted on the floor going up to the bottom of top deck to raise and lower the angle of the deck , it also can winch up a dead sled on the lower deck if needed.
took the old girl out to lunch today then to airport to see about avgas for the sleds

I saw a bus in the Bighorns that had a rack on top also to haul sleds.
It looked kind of top heavy but it seemed to work for them.

What is the powerplant? Can always go to a larger tire size to get more top speed.
