Just met up with Mike last night and picked up an 11 pc kit. Product looks good and Mike was happy to talk for a few minutes while his family waited at dinner! Good guy to buy from!

Canada Customs is the hold up on these orders,
they get up north quick enough,But once they hit customs
screeching halt!:boxing:
Alaska gets theres in three days shipped same way.
We have had them get to sweden faster.
in the US they have been getting them two days.
Customs forms have been filed as promotional,
with $ 2.00 of abs plastic
and 6 rivets @ 1.00
Trying to save some money for ya duty payers.
the same package to go out UPS Brown costs $29.00
With tracking number and still takes 8 days or More.
Maybe customs is going to start selling my footwell vents
to help their Economy. LOL
If some one in the know has better ideas for the Customs Delay
Please Share.

Thank You to Everyone.
From Taylor's Three

Hey Mike

Thanks for the reply yesterday
Im still a bit confused as to how these work......

I looked at my sled yesterday and the footwell is curved not straight like your template is cut
It appears that adding your vent may cut off some "toe room", putting your foot back about 3" or so
Maybe im on crack tho.......?????

Looks like a great product i would order, but just need clarification on the install process

They are only 1/8 thick and sit flat to the alumn.
so you lose 1/8" of toe Room
before

AFTER.

if you look at the very bottom the two rivets stick out farther than the vent
Thanks Mike

Ill take a pic of my footwell and send it to you
Mine are different than these

There is about a 90 degree bend half way through and there is another few inches of toe room
Not sure if its a change for 2012 or just the 600 chassy difference??
The 600 144 shares the same tunnel as the SB Assault not the 155 RMK 600

Maybe this is why they differ?

Mike I sent you a PM about ordering some. Was hoping you might just sell the clutch side, as I don't think the can side needs to keep the snow out like the clutch side.

Good idea, but won't snow just ruin that screen/mesh when pushed in?

I like the premise behind the footwell plates. I am thinking of previous years when I slam my foot in that well to clear snow and push snow through anything that's there and into the clutch/pipe compartments. Has anyone tried these yet and have first hand results?
I need to find a fix and trying to see the value added here.

I have had them on my pro, since last november.
We ride with three pro's and 10 dragon.
out of three pro's all riding the same places same days, and
same conditions.
One Pro is still running Original Belt. (with footwell vents)
two have both blown belts. after first blown belt they both asked to have these installed.
The other benifit is no snow sticking in the foot hole.
We have not had any returns from any kind of failure.
And if WE did we would fix it or replace it.
at 65.00 these are cheap insurance.
one slip of a wet belt (boom) $200. belt
thats one good ride down the drain.
all of the movie makers this year riding pro's
are running these footwell vents. if they can't tear em up, we should be fine.
WE have also sent 5 pairs to MAX, @ Tri-city Polaris. they are on his Demo pro, And will be giving Us feed back as well. As His blessing!
honestly these thing are a no brainer, And should be sitting next to the spare belt, oil, skid plate when you pick up sled !
ten minute install, and peace of mind.

They Won't add ten horse power, But they will Protect your belts.
and save snow build up, And they finish the sled nicely.
Thank You for Looking.
And We would love to help you.
Mike

Thanks for the nudge, where can I get a pair locally?

I am in N. Utah. Any local dealers carrying them?
