So there I was.
Minding my own business.
Just wrapping up the last ride at the SnoWest Forum ride in Togwotee last weekend.

Pulling into the parking lot, not 20ft away from my trailer and suddenly there is a massive puddle of oil beneath my sled.

Pulled off the side panels and checked all the hoses and everything looked TIGHT and in place. Tank was BONE DRY and the oil came out hard and fast under pressure.

Putting her up on the lift in just a moment to start hunting for the cause.

Motor was running GREAT.
What ever came loose let go just 20 feet from the trailer in the parking lot under almost NO load at all.
It just BARFED all over the place in the course of a couple seconds.

Have the lift under the sled now.
Starting to take the oil tank off so I can see whats hidden behind it.

Ya, but this wasn't a leak. This hose exploded under pressure and dumped all the oil in just seconds. Makes me worry that there is a blockage downstream somewhere not letting throbbing return to the engine??

Replacing the hose is easy enough. What worries me is where the pressure came from to rip that apart. The return line should be a LOW PRESSURE line, shouldn't it!!
