Trailer Camping Wolf Creek

Looking to head down to the Wolf creek area on Wednesday for the upcoming storm. Planning to camp in my camper/trailer.

Is it ok to camp at the parking lot trailhead? Was thinking of setting up at Park Creek right by the road since it is a big lot.

Any other suggestions or warnings?

never seen people camping there but if you’re asked to leave just park down in south fork. My buddy is there right now tell Friday snow looks awesome in the videos!!!!!! Good luck jeeper!! Wish I was there!

You CAN camp in the parking lot. Why you would want to is beyond me. It will be below zero and there are warm hotel rooms just down the hill with showers and hot food. I have never understood why you would want to do this unless you have a really nice camper to stay in.

Sweet thanks guys! I have a nice camper with heat and hot water. But mostly I just enjoy being out there. To each their own.
