Have a apex with a mpi sc stage 1 running about 10 psi boost. Issue is when i come off of wot the sled acts like the throttle surges at about 1/4 throttle, seems to take a little bit to settle out. 1-3 lits on the gems go from yellow to red back and forth when this is happening too. anyone seen this?

Do you have a blow off valve? Have you tightened up the throttle return springs? Both of these will help>

yes i have a blowoff valve too. havent done anything with the springs yet. had the sled sc'ed last year and never had this issue. last tripo out west the tps went but didntsee this particular issue at all. now at see level it does it.

When u say it surges does it raise and lower rpm or does it just stay high rpm for awhile

rpms go up and down too. talked to steve a little on this too.

Sounds like a altitude compensation setting. Try raising the red blue mode up or down and see if it solves the issue.

Sorry heath its not that. been both ways on the alt comp settings. Been fighting this thing for quite a while now and starting to get disgusted a little. Its always the settings, well last thing ended up being the tps. Sorry gotta vent once in a while.
