Christopher....i don;t even own a Yamaha...the only reason i don;t want this section changed is that it is one of the last remaining places on earth where i can come to that time seems to stand still...

The way I take the numbers is this:

Those who wanted a review forum voted yes
Those who didn't want a review forum voted no

All the others don't care either way, or don't care enough to even vote. As it stands the majority of folks who cast their vote want to see a subforum added. I wasn't for this in the beginning, but as far as I can tell, more want it than don't so it is at least worth a try.

As for which threads to move, I would start it out with the review threads you created, and maybe throw in a sticky with a template of sorts to serve as a guide to create a good product review.

All of that being said, I have to play devils advocate and ask what is going to happen with the other review section of the main forum:

My reviews are easy.
But we need to do some HUNTING to find the gems that other members have posted over the last several years that have become burried and lost.

And the Yamaha forum is SMALL.

Just imagine what treasure is hidden in some of the large forums.

How about an indexed sticky thread.
Go through and find threads, put them in a master thread stickied at the top with links to the "gems"

Funny, the people that post don't want it, the people that don't do want it.

I wonder who should have priority here..

I think this is all about the people who are LOOKING for information.
The goal here is to make it easier for them to FIND what they are looking for.

If you are able to use the Advanced Search Engine and find what you want, then its not really a big deal.

But the overwhelming majority of traffic on SnoWest comes from people who are looking for info, not generating it.

SnoWest is a resource tool for the entire sled community.
