04 to 06 engine swap

I've tried to find a post about this with no luck.
Long story short I blew up the 950 big bore I was running in my rev, and I'm going to put it back to semi stock. I've found an 06 800 ho that I'm going to install in my 04 rev. Is there any issues I should be aware of, or is it going to just drop right in? Any insight would be awesome.

04 vs 06

Brain box and rave valve actuation are specific to the 06, other than that should be the same.

I got my new 06 engine today. got it installed. everything bolted right up. I swapped all my electronics over to the new engine. The engine starts and runs well. I think the late 06 rave valves may actuate different than the 04. mine seem to be working like they should. So far so good. Just need to get some fine tuning, also the secondary clutch needs to be shimmed. I think the clutch end of the case might be just a little bit longer.
