Why would you do that? ES is the only way to go, and JMO can't tell the wieght LB up front and after a hard day in the hills, nothing like pushing the button to start it up.

I love my estart. If you run a LW battery it only weighs 10lbs more than a sled without one. I have never had an e-start sled(13 different sleds over the last 4 years) not start off the starter on the hill. You might want to try it with a LW battery for a couple of months before you take it off.
