That's a massive engine!!
Think of it... if that stroke and piston were in a 2 cyl sled... it would be a 1400cc two stroke...GAWD.
With the light weight of the bike... you would think it would make a great 2 stroke mountain masher!

Well, we NOW know what it's purpose is.... and it doesn't need the wheels for it either. Who's going to man up and build one? TS will create a fit kit for it if you get them the bike for some measurements.

the bigger the piston the faster it grows in comparison to the cylinder as it warms, at least that was my understanding, maybe i'm just paranoid.
Would definitely want an engine cover and pipe wrap!

they are claiming 78 hp on the atk website (atk uses this engine at least they did in 12)

I have done a little research into the maico and had no luck with that but then i found Zabel an engine manufacter in Germany making an engine that is 700CC and a 620cc. Ever heard of a sport called Sidecarcross? Looks like a good way to get messed up. Anyways back to Zabel or the Zabel zm29...

If it only had electrc start, I owned a few Maicos they kick back break your ankle and throw you over the handlebars
