Any 2 strokes been converted?

Has anyone converted a 2 stroke bike to a snow bike? I know 2moto makes a kit for the CR500. Was thinking of using a CR500, ported and piped with a Rekluse clutch. Would the narrow power band of the 2 stroke make it hard to ride?

I think their kit is only for the Service Honda versions of the CR500....Someone had mentioned earlier that there may be some cooling/heating transitions as snow cools the expansion chambers of the 2 strokes, and subsequently warming back up with the exhaust gases...this cyclic trait was reportedly causing surging of power supply. I'm not sure I can agree with it, but just reporting what I've read.

A buddy of mine rips a kx500.. that bike has no issues and Im sure its no different with all the crs that are also snowbikes..want to see some cool snowbike/snowhawk video?? ck out www.mccbrothers.com
