LOL... $42,000???? I think you should just buy an elan and rent a helicopter.... That way you can still get to the top of the hills and it will be less embarrassing and more impresive...

Rental....shag
I have an Assault that was built in 05 and as $42k might be a stretch these sleds were not cheap to build!! I have thought of selling mine but for what I have in it and how much fun I have riding an "outdated chassis" It will rot in my garage!!

Who ever buys this sled will love it.

Here is mine and it is not for sale!!

You guys obviously have no idea;

I have built over 40 of these units and I have not had one unhappy customer to this day.
This machine is professionally built, and actually means what it says contrary to some peoples visual opinions.

it is a nice sled but with 170hp and some light weight things just don't see $42000 sitting there, love edge chassis maybe some more info like what type of tunnel?

The tunnel is a Dr.john owned design, that I have improved on year after year. It is about 12 lbs lighter than a stock tunnel, and is made of .080 gauge aluminum.

All of the items that are on this sled can all be priced out seperately.
At the time it was built, that is the money that was spent on it.

The sled was $12,000 itself
titanium springs (front and rear) $1800

The ryde FX shox are rebuildable, adjustable damping that are $550 / each.

Custum tunnel, Dr.John, including labour and coolers is $3500 to do the job right.

Light weight team roller clutch - including Helix and spring $500

Boss seat - $700

That is already down to $21,000 with alot more left to price out.

If you are really curious about the rest of the costs, Contact me on my cell phone.

I have seen these sleds in action and they do run good. but $42000 is a little much on what is in the sled. maybe more pics of it would show us something
