Anyone tried running another primary spring then what comes in the kit? Got a 155-280 titanium spring collecting dust. Would that be a dumb idea to try it?
A 280 spring would allow me to go some lower grams on the weight.
And when riding at sealvl that could be a good thing. 8psi and above tends to require an insane amount of grams to keep the rpms in check.

You won’t know until you test it. Give it a whirl.

What he said

I would guess you will not like the engagement as I did not. Make sure your primary is shimmed correctly to help with that.

I ran Indy Specialties new Helix, primary and secondary spring, Turbo 3 weights (74 grams) with 7 lbs on my Silber 14 pro, and it worked fantastic out at Togwotee last week. 8300-8400 RPM, smooth engagement, and cool clutches. Could hold my hand on the primary and secondary as long as I wanted after a long pull, his setup flat out works. :present:

For you guys that are running the Indy full turbo kit kit, are you finding that you have to reshim the primary or can you get away with leaving that part alone?

After you install the kit measure your belt to sheave clearance with a feeler gauge. It should be around .025 inch.

I have customers using it on a few different kits including an NA kit. They all love it and it works on all. For a boosted sled you will want to call Jon and ask for the Turbo kit. Let me know Kyle sent ya!

Anyone running the clutch kit on a MTNTK turbo?

Yes i am running it in my mtntk turboed sled.

Here is some riding from yesterday here in Sweden. Running 6psi at 1600 to 2300 feet, 155-280 primary spring instead of the one in the kit.
75grams weighted pushing 8400 rpm.

Watch in 1080p/60fps :)

How many miles are you getting out of your belts with there setup?

My belt from last years machine went on this years. And its survived 1250 miles before 1 cord started to take a peek out from the belt. Its still intact so i could just shave it off and burn the remaining. Then have it as a spare.
But 1250miles is waaay over what im used to so im very happy.

Yeah it works. Got some low rpm/idle problems with it running to fat. Might have a injector that is leaking. Will see if Mtntk manage to fix that for me.
