If your going to get heated bars get the c3 package, its clean. if not i havent had any issues with the thermobobs. mine kept up temps when it was 10 below the other day!

C3 is a no-brainer. Super nice piece and docks right to the engine (most applications) vs. install in a hose. C3 has more flexibility with extra ports too. The C3 unit also comes with really nice push to connect PTFE fittings and bypass line and include a small ball valve to control flow thru the bypass. The thermobob is rubber line with barbed fittings and hose clamps with no ball valve.
Both are great but I think C3 is better.

You will still need engine and radiator shielding to keep your temps up even with a thermostat. If I were to buy another thermostat it would be the C3.

C3 heated bars, thermostat, and engine temp gauge are the only way to go. most bang for the buck for sure.
