Drop it

if they bump up the power of the 800 they have to bump up the power of the 1000, or drop it... but i can't see that
800 142,... + 10 = 152...
1000 162,... 162 - 152 = 10....
now thats not enough to justify the fact of buying a 1000 over an 800

I've heard, Cat might drop the 1000, anyone else heard this :confused:

So when is the big release date for the 2010's?
I remember the last few years the spy photos came up the same week as the dealer meeting, followed by their AC website update the next Monday morning.
I am looking forward to the BNG release party...:beer;

so there is spark plugs in the crankcase as well as in the heads? I think if you did that a 1 stroke would be better, BOOM up BOOM down......

LOL I like how you think.

the M1000 has a 5mm larger bore and a 8mm longer stroke, its a stroker and makes more torque, If they keep the same m chassis theres no reason to eliminate any of them. it makes me curious if you could through m8 jugs on a m1000 motor making a stoker that you could turbo without as much piston heat as the m1000. Right now it seems Cats are in the lead anyway.

A stock 1000 has approx 117 lbs ft of torque. The formula for this is hp x constant divided by rpm. 162 x 5252 divided by 7250 = 117 I dont know the numbers for the 900 but i dought if it is more than 117. But i have been wrong before twice already today. lol

My dealer said new graffics for sure will know more in 3 weeks, and BD RTR still not sure whats going on with warrenty yet. I personally don't think there will be a warrenty.

Nice card trick

Well at least you are creating some excitement anyway...

Kudos to the dealer that put the white hood on a factory black hooded 2009.

No Sno Pro - no Fox floats in that pic and there's no way they'd carry over 2009 graphics another year to 2010.

Awesome looking one-off sled though.:cool:
