I have a powder lights turbo I bought second hand and I am trying to figure out what turbo is on it. I am pretty sure it is a gt 2860 I need to get a seal kit for it and need to know where to get one. I spun a rod bearing now I have a new motor. Also need to know how many head
Gaskets I need when I put in the o ring head spacer from powder lights

I forgot to mention I am up in northern bc so if there is some place around here to get the seal kit

Pretty sure you are right on the turbo and when I did mine Dave had me split the head gasket, use copper seal and sandwich the shim between the two halves

there is a place in dawson creek that works on garrett stuff,they are a diesel place though.

you could try alpine motor sport in salmon arm they could probly tell where to get parts if they dont have them.

The Powderlites kit should be a GT2860RS "disco potato" turbo. Dave at Powderlites should be able to help you with a center section/rebuild. You just split the gasket and use copper sealant on both sides of both halves to reseal. Neil at Boost-it should be able to help you out as well. On the Eastern side of the country Dave at Hurricane Performance is another good source.
