Update to Our project hauler

We started this in August to drive from Michigan to Wyoming or Colorado 2 -3 times a year . It's been slot of work but sure will. E worth it

cutting the back off

sloping the rear frame

sled deck #3 ! Took 3 times to get it right

putting in trim to stain

trim stained and speakers in place

loading sleds for trip around the block

sleds loaded

we blocked off 8 Windows , have a closet in the back that will hold our diesel heater , and all our gear , closet is wrapped in cedar paneling , hard wood floors in main section with seating for 8 .

Nice work. What's top speed on the old girl? Those nice seats look a lot more comfy then school buss benches that you can feel every spring in.

Right now top speed is 62 mph , goal is to regear next year to at least get her up to 75 .And yes those seats are really comfortable
and every one of them recline and swivel . Can't wait for our first trip
In it in December .

We set it up to tow trailer also but can shoehorn
3 sleds up top and 3 on bottom right now . As of first trip in December
Only 4 of us but have 8 going in February with other half renting .

Update on the hauler

We did some more work on it this weekend .
Finished the hardwood floors and mounted seats .
Hooked the Espar furnace and got it running .

Skidoo151, may i suggest a curtain for the sides of the sled carrier. They are right behind the tires, they will be covered in road grime.

vinyl flooring in closet with trim today.

underbody storage box , and also put a 60 gal tank for our race fuel for our sleds under the body on the other side .
