pro rmk clutching 8-10k ft

I am heading to the big horns i have a 12 pro 800 rmk all stock. will be riding 8500 -10500ft polaris calls for 10-60 weights. looking for input if thats about right or in a 10-58 or 10-62 is better. thanks for the input

Id go with 10-60. Depending on the snow, you may be able to pull 62's, but i wouldnt put bother unless you are having high rpm problems...

You can also change the driven clutch spring, Polaris calls for a different spring in the driven for that elevation, I changed mine and my gearing.

Stock pro. 60s run perfect and I'm kinda a lard bucket at 250

That makes two of us....


The secondary spring change was mentioned. I haven't and have run up to 11,000. On a couple occasions, I've wanted to change it, as I thought I had a little lag back shifting. Happened like 3 times in 800+ miles, so no big deal. And I think it was mostly due to snow conditions, and my spare tires... :)
