I remember back in the day when 600ho and ves swaps were the hottest thing since sliced bread there were some great write-ups on hardcoresledder.com on the swaps. If I remember correctly, a black/white barrel plug wire connected to the chassis harness from the cluster of wires and plugs coming out of the stator which created a ground. Check that out and if that doesn't pan out check the write ups on hcs.
