My sons 2000 Formula Deluxe's 380 headlight and taillight are very dim, I checked voltage at the regulator harness and have about 11.8 volts DC across the yellow/black and yellow wire, and the same across the red and black wire while the VR is plugged in. If I unplug the VR and idle the machine, the lights are extremely brite and I am getting 11 - 20 volts AC across the yellow/black and yellow wire. Does this mean my VR is bad?
