Bushing play in lower a-arm, normal?

I'm replacing a bent lower a-arm on my 17', and the OEM part I got in the mail has a noticeable amount of play in the bushings. Is that normal?

I can't install it right now due to injury, but the old/bent arm has really tight bushings with no play.

Mine have more play than I like. I am going to try these.

So a bit of play is normal? That's pretty disappointing.

I changed the bushings as I thought it was too worn. Still a bunch of play so I guess its normal.
