Timbersled says to use 14.313" center to center length on the KTM 525 EXC, but all others are 14.188" Why would the 525 be different? I thought the chassis was identical to the 450 EXC. I called and was told to use the longer length, but couldn't get a good reason why.

Also running the 137" length with the 2.3" lug track.

I'd go with Timbersled's recommendation. They did design the kit. The diff is a tenth of an inch. Try both and see which works better.

Bigger engine with more torque it may just transfer more this would help.

I would recommend running the shorter length. The first bike I ran my MH kit on was a 525 and it had way to much ski pressure, I think a shorter rod would help alleviate that.
