Just wanted to keep everyone in the loop as far as our product development is going. We have an OEM rail in house that we have modeled up. We are working on a full line of rails for the 154,165, as well as the option to stretch it to 174. These are available for purchase on our website, shipment will begin within 2 weeks.

We also have our hillclimb brace kits which we are designing up for them. This will be a full bolt/rivet on doubler plate that runs from the front wheel block holes all the way to the rear of the rail.

Happy sledding!

Awesome, I'm super excited to order a set around Christmas time!

What's the best way to get a set each for the wife and I in the Yukon Territory?

Did you add holes for the stock scratchers to the new rails?

We are doing black for sure, as well as looking at a nice high viz yellow type color. Also contemplating white as well. We are just doing our best to make sure we have a product available before too much snow is flying right now! If these sell anything like our polaris brace kits, im sure we will have a large variety of colors available very quickly.

Thats what all of our others are set and and we just put that up as more of a place holder at the moment, we will have finalized pricing this week as the full layout of kits and components are finalized.

Braces running from the front track shock to the tail of the rail should add the strength guys are after on these!

Just got an email back from Brock at IceAge...

They will have the rail brace with cross shafts available here very soon.

AND

Rails, straight (not tipped up in the rear) rails that are lighter than the "Bomber" rails and only slightly heavier than the stock G4 rails....

Claimed to stronger than stock... and easy to see how that is possible when you compare the two.

That would be awesome. I think they originally said $100 for the hill climb kit.
Unfortunately to make the braces not a giant nightmare to install they will be going on the outside of the rails. The 154's are done and we are doing some test fitting on the 165's here this week. They will be headed to production shortly after.

As for the rails, we are doing an install on a sled this evening for final design verification and then we will begin shipping pre-orders and stocking up the shelves!

Our G4 Hillclimb Brace kits are in stock and ready to ship!

After many hard miles all last winter and early this season on a number of sleds we have hammered on these without a single issue. They are a great affordable option to add some great strength to your OEM rails.

http://www.iceageperformance.com/bracing/hillclimb-braces/gen-4-hcb-kit.html

Do the braces have inserts that align into the rail holes? I ask because apparently there are two 165 rail patterns out there. I ordered a brace kit from another manufacturer and they didn't fit until I modified them. I may have to go with yours due to better coverage. Thanks for the info!
