Service tech states that I will be getting the 2008 Diamond Drive to replace my 2007 Diamond Drive that failed. He states that when you go to order a whole new assembly for my 2007 M1000 Sno-Pro it gives a new part number for the 2008 Diamond Drive. He goes on further to say there have been some improvements in the 2008 Diamond Drive. He mentioned seal etc. Anyone know if the gearing is the same in 2008 as 2007?
Does the 2008 Diamond Drive interchange with the 2007?

The gearing should still be 60/60. My dd had some stripped gears and broken parts so I also have a new one. I put the drive off of my M-8 on and love the gear ratio. 57/63 I haven't put the new one on because I would rather go with black diamonds reverseless drive. Sure wish I could find someone to buy this other one...
