Mine told me 15 units Total!

My 3" option alone is $350 for the Chaincase , Clickers , PIDD, E Start.. raise my price about $1500

I'm not an Accountant so I calculated about $13,700 is my sale price minus Taxes

are they charging more for the "850" over the "840"?

Could be something to the allotment thing? My dealer yesterday told me he was only getting 23, and had 12 spots filled already..
Seems odd, Snowcheck is a guaranteed sale, not like they're going to be forecasting how many they "may" need for in-season models and over produce?

I was told Polaris can only build so many 850 in time for Snowcheck and that is what those numbers are based on.

There is no limit on the non 850 sleds.

And they also do it to build hype......

Just like skidoo did in 17 with the 850 etec.

Mid season you should expect to see 850’s trickle into dealerships (stock colors and bare tunnels)
(As soon as production catches up poo corporate will start figuring out how to get more 850’s into consumers hands)
Don’t forget the snowcheck agreements always have fine print that says “subject to change without notice”

Or even “hero” sleds which allows dealers to “snowcheck” sleds and sell them like a normal in season sled.

They should start alotting them all to unwreck the used sled market, and make snowchecking actually make sense. Read an article the other day that stated there are like 150,000-170,000 sleds produced a year and under a 100k sold. Something is wrong there.

Yea, my dealer seems to always have a bunch of "snowcheck" sleds for sale that they order to sell in season. Seems smart.

Was told by my dealer Polaris will be cracking down on ghost snowchecks don't think it will be worth it for a dealer taking the chance. Only build what u sell sounds good to me. Will make used worth more. Not making very much money on a carryover or getting the sale on a new one the next year. The dealer and companies will make more money in this sales strategy also this might help with being able to trade. Instead of a pile of carryovers you will have used to pick from. Just did the deal on 850 patriot 163x3 for 13400$
