Hey all, I'm trying to help a buddy of mine get his sled ready to go this year...

We're gonna pull the carbs and clutch and clean everything and basically give it a tuneup ...

I'm wondering what you all might have run for jetting and clutching on a stock 1999 SkiDoo Summit 670 for 8000+ feet ...

Any help would be appreciated, thanks! :)

You can find the info here - http://www.stboni.com/service.htm

Scroll towards the bottom of the page and see the manuals, the link to the 1999 ones isn't working but my 98 670 ran 195 PTO and 190 MAG at 8000 feet, page 36 on the 1998 manual. I was running 286 ramps with the stock spring and almond secondary spring with a 50 deg helix.
Edit - I ran the c-clip in the top position and AA-2's for the Needle Jets

My 99x came stock with 350 main jets and the dealer in laramie installed 320's during their pre-delivery setup for 10,000'. I'm not sure if they changed out the ramps or springs, or if they messed with the final gearing but the sled has run great. Top speed was around 75 at 10,000' if that gives you any idea on the gearing.
