2013 ASSAULT

I went with the 2013 Assault to avoid the Quick drive belt system. So far I love it only 200 miles on it. Better shocks, better A-arms, Don't know about the Mountain track we have had very little snow so I have not got to try it in much powder.

Consider a RMK Assault for where you live. No QD issues on any year, and the comp track might be better for you, depending on where you ride the most.

13 or 14 would be my first choice, with improved OEM top ends over the 11 and 12s. 12's were abit better than the 11, cleaned up the wiring harness, top end, different injectors. There are good 11's, weaknesses that year included the top ends, injectors, wiring. JMPE, owning both an 11 and 14.

I should add my 14 is a standard, evols, carl's clutching, other stuff. I can't speak to ownership experience with QD, other 13-14 pro features.

2013 current, All my friends are eating belts, both clutch and quick drive. Also dont fully trust the glued a arms and carbon overstructure (personally)

2011-12 rmk pro

2013-current rmk (not pro but base model has no QD belt or carbon fiber or a arms etc, great value for money)

2011-current assault

Just what i would if it was my money

Get a 14 and just ride it, that's what I would do, are wait a month and see what comes out for 2015.

I had a 12 PRO RMK. Snowchecked it new. Put 800 miles on it. Stock plugs and belt. Motor was stock other than a can. Never had any problems with it other than a weak tunnel. Ended up fixing that and selling it. Picked up a carryover 13 standard rmk. No belt drive, carbon fiber over structure, bonded arms, and it has a front cooler. Now has an ez-ryde, holz a-arms with Evol R's, powder pros, anti-rachets, RKT drop in, and SLP stage 2. I love the way the sled handles and it runs 124-127* even with the drop in. I highly recommend reading Mountainhorse's thread. It convinced me and I'm more than happy with the sled I have now.
