She don't look like much, starting next month she will get a new heart transplant. And a major facelift. It was my dads rig, he bought it for $2000 in 1966. I drove it all thru high school as a kid. It was the next big project me and pops we're going to do, but he was diagnosed with colon cancer jan 10th of '13 and passed 10 days later. So he left me a little money and in his honor I'm going to bring 'ol red back to life.
Here's the plan
Start with the 1965 F 250
Cummins 5.9 12 valve p pump
Swap front axle for a 77 disc brake axle
Swap rear axle for 94 ford hi way geared setup
5 speed ford transmission
Brake booster, power steering, leather interior, 35" tires on 20"black rims. And repainted red with the white cab. I'll keep you posted.
