What years are the best, and what years are the worst? Heard a lot of burn down issues. I figured the riders will tell me what i need to know. Is there anything i should avoind or anything i should look for? Any input will be appreiciated.

2005-2006-2009 were the best--2007 was the worst but i had a 2007 159x with a powdermax track and it was a great sled--just sold my 2006 x because of a hand injury and Dr bill this winter--wish i still had it---2008 with the updates are a great sled also--my 2009 rocks and i'm riding it another year:D:D

04 800 151 rocks, 3400 miles with a ring update at 1800 miles. Still has 150 # on both clys. 06 800 144 1800 miles and tossed a rod bearing  fun sled in most conditions. Wouldn't trade either one. Dino

dunno why everybody bashes the 2007's, with a new track..and the FREE 08' engine they are IMO better than the XP's, no clutching issues...ive got 700 miles on one belt and still going strong...no venting, not modifications whatsoever..just a can and a camoplast challenger...and the updated engine

From my customer experiences and my own testing on them, I would stay far away from a 2007.
Yes there are 07's that flat out freakin rip there man, but some of them owners have said worst mistake they've made.

I think far as rev chassis would be the 06 X model with soft paddle track.
Far as xp, either one would do, just have to get the clutch wear parts in good fitness.
