Exhaust side panel

I have a ‘15 M8000 and the exhaust side panel has a triangular hole in it. They’re built like that. Anyway, that hole is allowing so much snow inside that the can is almost covered. How do we put a screen on that or do otherwise to allow the pipe to build the proper heat and make my hotdogger to get hot?

Mountain fit makes one that's a little burlier.

I used some fiberglass window screen from the hardware store and some black RTV to hold it on the inside, super cheap and works great. Frogskinz would definitely keep more snow out if you want to pay for it. I have narrowed panels so there is gaps around where the side panel seals, so in my case the frogskinz probably wouldn't make sense.

I use Frogzskins over the front big opening (M series intake stuck to the backside) and the rectangle vent by the can. If you've stripped your side panel foam put a piece of thick weather stripping by the big V where the side panel meets the bat wing that covers the console. When I replaced my side panel I just left some of the foam at the rear to help close this off. I plugged off every vent one by one to see where the snow was coming in and those were the big three. I've also got my body panels tucked in and went to using a big circular weather strip from Napa along the edge with hardware store pins, spacers, and R clips. Seems to work really well and my plastics don't bulge anywhere.
