wtf is with these new leatherish straps with the button thingie???? They are crrrapp. You could never do these back up while having a helmet on.

There is Velcro on one side so you can easily take one side off and the hard circle end holds it on.

It's good when you don't want to fog your gigs when wrenching, shoveling, etc.

Maybe you got some with only the 2 hard button thingies.

Sounds like your frustrated tho. Calm down, you gonna give herself a jammer.

These aren't the quick straps I've used for years. These have two Chrome looking buttons that Velcro to the helmet.

I thought they might be different after I posted an answer. Figures that a company would change something that works!

I did just some "quick straps" from Amazon coincidentally 1 week ago.

I feel your pain about the buttons.

I have both. Roko and Scott. The Scotts work just fine with no complaints but the Roko quick strap is better IMHO.

I certainly can understand their rationale in their design, as I have often times had the Velcro "load up" with snow/ice by the end of the day to where it is not as secure as I would prefer.

However, if you cannot fasten it easily with your gloves on, at that point it is as worthless as sour owl sh!t.
