I am wondering what channels you guys use the most on the 22 channel 2 way radios whether it is a walkie talkie or a rino unit?

whats the best ones to use in backcountry out sledding?
way just wanting the know the best channels to use for range and transmit power.
I see between the rino 610 and 650 they are the same transmit power on FSR of .5 watts, and 1watt 610 and 2watt 650 does this really make a difference in range and clarity?
have been using channel 6 on our midsize Cobra radios. gonna look up what transmit power they have. they have worked pretty good but down low in the canyons of the trails we start loosin each other when get distance between us just not sure exactly how far last time we radio`d in this cituation but in the bowl play areas seem to transmit pretty well
