Anyone else's WRP Mountain Aire running boards break?

Front mount snapped clean off, is this a common problem with these boards?

Boards are less then a month old.

Get to spend my Sunday tearing it off and rewelding it instead of riding.:face-icon-small-fro

I don't know anything about the failure, but I would bend the boards back up and weld it in place on the sled. Put two layers of aluminum foil against the plastic to reflect the heat away. It's probably harder to weld with them off the sled since you have no good way to align the pieces.

For some reason I was thinking they were chromoly, I was wrong, not set up to weld aluminum at home.

Whoever welded these up, well let's just say quality control is lacking. Save your money.
