I need to buy a MPEM Computer for a 2004 Summit 600, . Are they year specific or are they interchangable between 800HO and 600HO?

There is some crossover on MPEM units. A good parts person will be able to do a reverse part number look up and give you the models that will interchange....

So would a MPEM from a 2005 600 Summit, work on the 2004 600 Summit?

i wanna say plug configuration is the key. same moter from 03-06 on the HO, I would guess they never added more timing or changed the ignition curves if the HP rating stayed the same though those years.
