by moving the upper a-arm lower how does the handling change & is that 4lbs lighter?

When I look at your upper A arms, I see them coming in at an angle to attach to the spindle. That does allow you to adjust the caster, but it also changes the camber as you do so. Adjustable caster is great, but not when it changes camber at the same time. Especially when increasing caster causes camber to go positive.
