Demoed a 850 154 SP, 2-3ft of powder ran the tank out in 41 miles, the funnest sled I have ever rode. Just curious what everybody is getting for mileage, does a guy need to get the bigger spare tank, have the 3.5 gal for my xm. Thanks

This past weekend I put on 64 miles 20 of witch came from the trail ride in and out and still had a quarter tank when I loaded up. Snow was set up with a 2 or 3 inch crust on south slopes and still powder on the north. There was a fair bit of climbing and playing in the trees. 154x3

Wetter heavier snow breaking trail for 50 miles and took 8.7 gallons. Had probably 35 miles on and it went to 0 bars and started beeping at me. The last 15 was down the mountain trail ride out. This was only a half day ride.
Went for 77 miles round trip and took 6.5 to 7 gallons. 50 of it was on trail. I also pulled an otter sled for 50 of it with extra gas. Figuring on more miles but snow sucked. My buddies turbo axys took 8 or 8.5 for same trip.
Deep snow, I would pack gas. Otherwise I would not worry about it.
