Is there somewhere I can just hook a battery inline? Basically I replaced my hand warmers last year and they never worked right so I want to figure out where the short is, but I don't want to have to sit there and run the sled for however long it's going to take me to go threw the electronics with a test light. Is there away for me to just hook a battery up inline somewhere to simulate "on", or am I sol?

just pick up a multi meter and run your test..will easily show any shorts, opens and continuity....

x2 you need an OHM meter. that way you can find short/open curcuits without running the sled. any decent multi meter will work.
