Is there supposed to be a recoil rope guide or something on Wedge chassis sleds? I have a '92 indy 500 for my son and the rope rubs on the brake assembly.....

Seems like Polaris changed that every model and every year. Some of them had a little wire loop mounted to the brake/chaincase or even to the steering loop, that acted like a guide to keep it from rubbing.
Other's had a metal sleeve/tube that the rope went through that was a protector for the rope down through the engine compartment.
