What is the easiest way to put 8 in drivers on my 89 indy 400 sks. as in can I buy them after market and somehow install them on my drive shaft or is there a different drive shaft to look for? I want to use an xtra10 suspension I have with a 136 track but need more room for 1 3/4in lugs.

If they are for your drive shaft diameter, you can either press them off/on yourself, or pay a shop to do it. I did that once and figured I was on my way to owning a 12 ton press from HF. I have used the press many times since so I figure it is just a fixture in the shop now.

I ended up getting a piece of 8" well casing about a foot long to use as a support to get the drivers off.

Pretty easy if you pre-mark the shaft (I used a corner of a file) to reference where the old drivers were before they moved.
