i'm looking to put on a skid plate on my 08 dragon. I just thought i'd ask first before i drill. Are there any preferred spots to drill or avoid? I'd rather not drill into something accidentally. thanks
If you bought a Polaris plate, it has holes pre-drilled, use the plate itself as a template. I can't say for any others as I haven't installed any other brand, but for the most part, if you stay where the bulkhead is flat on the bottom, there isn't anything you're going to hit unless your bit is excessively long.
