Well just finished up my new light weight Reapermotorsports hood on my PC8, and first off let me tell you that Kegan is a pleasure to deal with! Great guy that makes a great product.

Install took a few hours to get it right, was a bit of a project but well worth it in my opinion! Also Kegans step by step directions made it even easier. The kit cost less then any of the other competitors and I'm sure it weighs the same if not a lil less but I'm not 100% since I did not weigh it. Here are some pics for your viewing pleasure, I will have it mounted onto the sled tomorrow and will snap some more photos!

I have the Bdx hood on. There is a lot of intake noise with these hoods. Kind of annoying. Also with my '13 it created a bog right off the bottom. Dealer said that the '13 has a leaner map right off idle. I didn't relocate my intake air temp sensor. That might help. Might just try and sell the hood. Anyone want a good deal.

I'd say she's a sold six beer project! And I'm still planning on mounting the air temp in the nose just didn't have the sled when I put all that on. And noise I like noise

I think re-locating the air temp. sensor will help your bogging issue, I am waiting on my BDX hood right now and i am going to re-locate my air sensor for sure.

Does that one just mod the stock hood or is it an all new hood? Cost?

Its just modding your stock center of your hood.
Headlight Delete is $140 with Powdercoat
Vents are $75 Bare, +$10 for Prefilter
Side Vents are $35, + 5 for Prefilter
Powdercoating Extra
Vents are made to order, come with a stainless steel mesh behind the prefilter for strength with an aluminum frame.

I have the bdx style hood, home made thou. A little trick and one old part, and alot of the noise went away.
No, I want tell you what it is before I have verified on a dyno that there's no performance loss out of it.

Now, reapermotorsports make some nice stuff. I like that guy:thumb:

How does it ride with this hood mod done? Did you find any weight difference?
