My girls 09 600 iq shift is getting tons of snow on the clutches from the gap I have pictured.. I put some foam strips there.. Is there anything else to keep the snow from going in there.. Thanks

I would just use some hood straps there also which will secure the hood down in that spot to stop the snow from entering. Just cut some slits in the hood and use Polaris hood straps. Easy and cheap to come by.. I have seen this done many times in the same place.. uploadfromtaptalk1417409989578.jpg

The gap is 1/2-3/4" high.. The hood is closed tight.. U can't pull it any tighter in that spot..

The hood on my 06 chassis did this same thing, on both sides. Granted, mine has the 09 body update, but either way the problem is a sagging hinge up front. I did some tweaking to the bumper and hinge mount with a BFH and pry bar, now my hood shuts right.

The bumper and hinge is all plastic on this.. Everything is tight and closed like it should.. There's just a huge gap on both sides on this model ..

Automotive self adhesive bubble seal from NAPA is what we used on the IQ. Worked great. You can get it ACE Hardware also.
