I am running a 3076 on mine. I will do some digging but I am pretty sure Shane tried several different a/r and .86 was the best on the M1000. He was using something different on the 800's but he liked the .86 best on the 1000. Again I will do some looking and see if I can find my notes. I don't think you will ever get supercharger type response. So I am not to sure what you have now for spool up. I feel mine is pretty darn quick.

the 3071 doesn't require you and your buddies on the hill to have earl pugs. and not far off the hp numbers. VS the 76

I have never spent much time on a 3071 so I can't compare. But you are right about the noise. The deep bark of the sled is pretty close, but the 3076 has a high pitch whine that will blow your ears out if you don't have ear plugs in. Would I change to a 3071, nope. I am very happy with my 3076.

Thanks for all the replys but wouldn't a 70AR x 86ar take more time to spool up than a 50ar x 86ar?
