I was just wondering how the snow conditions were looking around Togwotee area? Everything all tracked up, or have they been getting new snow?

Thanks

We are staying at the lodge right now. Conditions are very firm, as the temperatures a few days ago melted the snow and then firmed it up. There is some soft snow on top, but the conditions are crusty. We'll see what tomorrow brings.

We rode yesterday around the Breccia cliffs in the morning and you can climb just about anywhere. There is about 8 to 10 inches of powder on top of crist. The riding was good, but it is also difficult to hold a line and do sidehilling with the crust. In the afternoon we went around drag race hill and there was some pretty good snow on top of the crust. All in all better riding than expected, but they do need some more snow. They are supposed to get snow each day for the next 4 days, so maybe it will add up to something nice.

Where is this "drag race hill" you speak of? :)
