good post, personally i can tell you i live around a lot of wilderness in nw montana and it's been at least 15 years since i have visited those areas. on the flip side i visit and play on the non wilderness areas 30 to 40 times a year. i also find myself attracted to other nearby communities having larger non wilderness areas to use.
basically i vote with my feet and support the non wilderness areas with my checkbook. just makes good sense to me.
