I have a lead dog helmet light. I dont have a battery on my bike and want to run the light off of a battery i could slip into my backpack. I need the battery to put of 12v? and be as light and small as possible. I was thinking lipo batterys out of an R/C car? any ideas????

I would look into a Shorai, or similar battery if thats what you are looking to do.

I already have the lead dog so i dont want to spend the extra on the cyclopse even though it is awesome! and the Shoria is a little big to throw in the back pack. i wondering if there is like a battery back i can soder it to kind of like the cyclopse?

I'm looking at the same kind of setup. I don't know what you have avaialbe there, maybe something in Spokane but we have battery only stores here which sell a ton of 12v batteries in all shape style and sizes, so it's really just a matter of picking one to fit your needs.

Why use a battery? why not just wire it into the sled with a connector?
