Did you have to do anything to the camera for it to record correctly when upside down?? I just purchased a go pro 3 and really like your under the visor idea!!! :face-icon-small-hap

I do....

I like it this way so that I don't have to worry about losing it when going through the tight trees and it's easy to see the start/stop button just above my vision level. It's barely noticeable with goggles on, a little moreso when wearing sunglasses, but not too bad.

There is a option in the menu that allows you to flip the recording mode ;)

I tried Powerfreaks chin mount location and really like it!

Better POV IMHO and much easier to start and check camera operation.

I don't have to worry about the camera getting hit by branches and it is not even noticeable with goggles on.

Aluminum mounting plate took ten minutes to fabricate.
