We wanted to release our new stuff as soon as possible so everyone can scratch what tunnel bag you'll use next winter.

Our E-Series product line has been very popular over the last few winters so much so we've had plenty of shortage issues. Good and bad, good because we love that you LOVE the bags bad because we haven't been able to provide enough for everyone who wants one. We are fairly confident that issue has been fixed for the next season. Anyway, on to the new bag.

We wanted to provide a low profile bag with options for the technical rider who needs storage without the bulk. The Altitude bag is built like the Elevation bag just at a max height of 4" (without the shovel pouch). You can run this bag with out without the shovel storage pouch on top. The top can be removed with 4 quick release buckles giving you a slim tunnel bag. There will be two sizes, the first is the one shown and is 14 wide x 16 long and 4" tall giving you 900 cu.in. of storage space. The bottom is a plastic molded tray with a raised portion in the middle to allow air circulation around the bag.

Internally the bag is lined with a material that will allow velcro to stick to it. 1 storage pouch is located on the lid and 3 elastic straps are available to keep misc items in place.

Also included with the bag is a deluxe tool pouch and a small storage bag for bulkier misc items. Both items have velcro on the outside to stick inside where you want it.

Mounting is achieved with 4 quick side release buckles that rivet to the tunnel. Optional will be a hard mount system that will be available in fall.

99% waterproof, submersion or spring snow will allow contents to get wet.

Made in the USA

Pricing is not available at this time but will be soon.

Thanks,
Paul

Hooks to use with the holes in the bottom of the bumper would be handy on these. Do you offer those?

Nice bag, I'd be in if the mounting would work with the cutouts in the Polaris tunnel.

Why would you want your SHOVEL on your sled?? Completely defeats the purpose of having a pack. Then...to have all of your gear in it??? It should be on your back where it attached to you.
So what if your in an avalanche, survive it and your sled is burried. How are you going to survive with out your pack? All of those special items that you packed when they are 6 feet under the snow??? OH, and no shovel!!!!
If your not riding in the mountains, great. Or if your sitting there waiting to shovel out people, because you are such a nice guy.
I cringe when I go to the mountains either here in British Columbia or Cooke City and people have packs on their sleds not on their back. They might be great for trail riding.
My opinion..... a disaster waiting to happen.

I know a lot of members won't agree with me, but so be it..

Did u ever think its for easy access to a shovel. I have 1 on my sled and 1 on my back. Always digging buddies out and it sucks digging shovel out of my backpack.

DUKHTR3 is correct. Beyond that, the shovel pouch is removable. The point is to offer a bag for those NOT in AVY conditions but deep snow access to a shovel. We would never promote only running a shovel on our bag in the mountains. It should be considered a back up shovel ONLY.

what he said. The one in the pack stays nice and clean, no chance of issues with packed snow or iced up. Im not pushing it and having fun if I'm not digging into the tunnel bag for the shovel.........:)

I have one of the early E-series bags and its held up well. Great bags, worth the extra coin.

I've carried two shovels at times on deep days.

One on the tunnel and one in the pack if I were to become separated from my buried sled. So far, it's just been extra weight. Hope it will always be that way.

When I haul just one shovel, it's the one in the pack and the tunnel shovel stays in the truck.

Here out East it's only necessary to carry on on the sled for those REALLY bad stucks. :face-icon-small-hap

These aren't the "official" photos but we couldn't wait so here are some quick photo's of the NEW Altitude 24 Bag. Bag is 24" long x 14" wide and 4" tall without the shovel on top. Shovel pouch is removable giving you the slimmest bag available. Two access hatches, one 8" and the other 16" that open away from one another. The idea is to give you quick access to drinks in the 8" compartment or access to larger items in the 16" compartment. There is an adjustable divider so you can customize the bag to your specific needs. Of course it's 99% waterproof like our other bags and Made in the U.S.A. Hard plastic bottom which keeps your content dry with a raised center allowing air flow around the bag reducing condensation. Price: TBD Available: Mid September
