The X3 is the newest lug design for the Challenger Series of tracks. If familiar with the traditional sawtooth lug design found in the 9115 174x16x3 and 9225 156x16x3, the X3 has a smooth top and you will find a the paddle slightly more pliable to aid performance in lighter snow conditions. The X3 is different than the 9174, 9175 or 9176 Challenger Extreme 2.5" lug tracks that also run a flat lug surface.

Bruce, any idea when a 156ish 3" lug in a 15 wide will come out...either in Extreme design or X3?

Is this the 3" pitch? Is the summer deal good enough where you can trim it to 15"wide and still be money ahead? Or.... Just go with the 162"x3"x15"?

the 3" is a single ply track

I have a 162x15x3" on my turbo M8, it moves a lot of snow , when on the throttle, It's like a Mountain Gopher on Sand

What he said... Or does the special pricing also apply to the 9220-15X162X3

I just called and ordered the 9220-15X162X3 and it does NOT fall under their sale but with that said, if you talk nice you may or may not get a discount. I did, :face-icon-small-win

After speaking with them, the 9219 which is the 16" version and the one that is on sale, they will cut it down to 15" wide for the sale price. They said they have not had any issues what so ever with their cut tracks and assured me that it would be fine. The only reason I went with the 9220 (factory 15") is I ended up getting it discounted but not quite as much as the 9219 on sale. I figured for the small difference it came out to be, I'll just spend a little more.
